Completing Your Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) File
In order for law school reports to be sent, they must be requested directly by the law schools to which you apply.
If you do not have a complete Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) file, your report will not be generated. A complete Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) file consists of the following:
- A current Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) file (this is the service described in the Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) General Information)
- At least one reportable LSAT score
- Summarized transcripts from all undergraduate schools that you have attended (graduate transcripts should also be sent)
- Authentication and evaluation of international transcripts, if applicable
- Letters of Recommendation, if they are required by the law schools to which you are applying
- Payment for all required reports and other requested services
- Reporting of older scores
NOTE: You must provide all information needed to complete your Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) file. Information provided in electronic law school applications, even those transmitted through LSAC, does not automatically become part of your Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) file.
Once you register for the Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS), contact the registrar from each educational institution that you have attended and have your official transcript(s) sent to LSAC at: LSAC, 662 Penn Street, Box 2000-M, Newtown, PA 18940-0993. If you have a current file with LSAC, you may check your file status online.
